The Newquay Cornwall Airport is located in the surfing capital of the UK, Cornwall. It reduced the need to use public transport to get around the country, and is a famous holiday location in the summer months.
The airport has over 500 parking spaces with 10 reserved for the disabled.
Facilities:
Aside from the disabled parking, airport wheelchairs may be used throughout the terminal and passengers may use their own wheelchairs up to boarding point. An Ambulift is also available for boarding and disembarking the plane.
The Horizons Café is a new addition to the terminal, which offers snacks and beverages as well as light meals. The atmosphere is of a relaxing nature and some quality wine and beers may also be consumed here. The café sells newspapers and magazines as well as gift items. A cash machine is also located in the vicinity and internet facilities are also available. The café has a seated section with views of the sea where passengers can enjoy some minutes with those seeing them off or with their friends at the airport.
An additional café on the airside has also been opened.
A well organised car rental service is open on weekdays and reservations may be made on the telephone before hand.
