Madrid Airport

Madrid-Barajas Airport is the busiest airport in Spain, serving almost fifty million passengers each year. It is a major international hub for flights throughout Europe, as well as for flights to Latin America. The airport is located inside Madrid, thirteen kilometres from the city's historic centre.

Madrid-Barajas is made up of four terminals, connected by an underground train called the APM. Terminals 2 and 4 are connected to the city by the Madrid Metro, and from Terminals 1, 2 and 4 you can take the EMT bus to downtown Madrid.

Madrid-Barajas contains a number of specialised facilities for business travellers. Terminal 4 has a large and modern business centre, with formal lounges and meeting rooms. There are lounges for priority passengers in all four Terminals, including Economy lounges that are available to any traveller with a Priority Pass.

Passengers with reduced mobility can request a wheelchair in any Terminal, and passengers requiring special assistance are encouraged to contact the airport forty-eight hours in advance of their flight to arrange for their needs to be accommodated.
